SCS Interactive’s Custom Water Attraction will Debut in China

SCS Interactive is primed to provide China with its largest and most spectacular signature water attraction. This wet and wild treasure is soon to be erected inside China’s Haichang Caribbean Park and it won’t take long for visitors from across the globe to discover it. The theme park is scheduled to open in July 2008 in Chongqing, China.

Upon its debut, the SCS structure will be China’s largest waterplay attraction. It will feature approximately 15,000 sq. feet of soaking wet interaction and adventure. The Caribbean themed structure stands 66feet high and has 38 decks of interactivity to explore. With the creation of this structure, SCS Interactive will truly prove itself as an international trendsetter and waterplay pioneer.

SCS Interactive customized the multilevel, threetower waterplay attraction specifically for Haichang Group’s, Haichang Caribbean Park. SCS blended its WaterColors™ and Discovery Treehouse™ products together, added two tipping buckets, a volcano geyser, six water slides and hundreds of interactive water features to create this refreshing and truly interactive family attraction.

“Having this opportunity to work with the Haichang Group allows SCS a chance to further broaden its international scope and to show the world its capability for creating world class waterplay structures. Our structure in the Haichang Caribbean Park will be unlike any other water attraction within China. Not only will it deliver unforgettable thrills, but if will offer parkgoers hours of matchless entertainment while keeping them cool during the sizzling summers.” said Steve Wagner, vice president of sales and marketing at SCS.

An eightfoot Caribbean themedtipping bucket will crown the 68foot high tower and drench guests with a gush of over 1,100 gallons of water every few minutes, but the fun won’t stop there. The Shipwreck tower, topped with its sixfoot bucket, will overflow with 750 gallons of water flooding the planks and the 50foot high volcano will erupt with a geyser of water blasting 80 feet into the air. Guests will be able to explore multilevel, climbable platforms and hundreds of interactive water blasters, sprayers, fountains, buckets, pumps and water wheels as they make their way around the play structure.
